Tropical Islands Tour: Departing from hotel towards the small fishing village Itacuraçá, 100 km down south on the Green Coast of Rio de Janeiro. The drive takes approx. one hour and fifteen minutes. Upon arrival, boarding a two mast schooner for a smooth cruise among the many tropical islands in the Sepetiba bay. The schooner is equipped with a sun deck partly covered and bar. Fresh fruits are served, while sailing. A stop is made for swimming next to one of the many beautiful islands and at lunch time, the course is set for the Martins Island, where lunch is served. After lunch (Buffet Style, included), time for sun tanning at the beach or enjoy one of the many beach sports activities offered. Return to hotel by late afternoon/early evening. Duration: 10 hours.

Pão de Açucar (Sugarloaf) and City-tour: Pick-up at the hotel and drive along the beaches to the Sugar Loaf cable car station. 6 minutes of cable car ride, first to the "Morro da Urca" mountain, 270m above sea level and then another 5 minutes to the top of the Sugar Loaf mountain, 395m above sea level. In this tour a city tour is included, with visits to the cathedral, the Samba Stadium; "Sambodromo", down town area, and if time permits, the Maracana football stadium. Duration: 4 hours. Corcovado (Christ Statue): Departure towards the Corcovado railway in Cosme Velho, with a panoramic drive along the "Rodrigo de Freitas" Lake. Train ride through the forest to the top of the Corcovado mountain and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, 710m above sea level. Time to enjoy the marvelous view of Rio de Janeiro and Niteroi - the city on the other side of the Guanabara Bay. Train back down. The tour continues through the "Rebouças" tunnel, passing the lake "Rodrigo de Freitas" to Sao Conrado, Barra da Tijuca and returning via the beaches of Barra, Sao Conrado, Vidigal, Leblon and Ipanema. Rio by Night: Unforgettable ride through the city bathed in sparkling lights. The first stop is at one of Rio's famous "Churrascarias", one of the highlights of eating out in Rio de Janeiro. The "Churrascarias" are Barbecue Restaurants, that use a unique system consisting of serving several types of meats brought to the tables on skewers and cut in front of the clients. Side dishes are abundant and varied, ranging from fried bananas and heart of palm to green salads, French fries and rice. Barbecue Dinner is part of Brazilian Folklore, and should definitely be experienced during the stay in this marvelous city. After a delightful meal, the tour proceeds to one of the famous samba show houses in Rio de Janeiro. This is the display of Carnival throughout of the year. Beautiful costumes, the rhythm of a typical "samba school", wonderful "mulatas", and the diverse richness of the Brazilian Folklore. This is a typical Carioca evening, to enjoy food, drinks, colorful costumes and the warm rhythm of the samba. Duration: 5 hours. Dinner & Show incl.

Imperial Petrópolis: Approximately one hour drive away from Rio (70 km), lies the old Imperial City Petrópolis. The mountain drive is spectacular. The highlight of the tour is the Imperial Summer Palace of D. Pedro II, which today is the Imperial Museum. Visits to the Cathedral, with the tombs of the Emperor and his wife, The house of Santos Dumont, the world's first aviator and inventor of the watchband. If time permits, visit to the local chocolate factory. Duration: 6 hours. Ticket museum incl.
