It is difficult if not impossible to resist the limitless natural beauty and the ecological appeal of this magnificent region know internationally as Iguassu. More than 70 ethnic groups, and many different languages and customs can be found in this paradisiacal setting, framed by the largest series of waterfalls on the planet, Iguassu Falls.

And once again, man demonstrated his capacity by creating Itaipu Lake, one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the world. It is the waters this Lake that power the turbines of the dam, generating 28% of Brazilian and 95% of Paraguayan electrical energy.
