Our Adventure
package tours to Brazil have the following
itineries.
Day1
Arrival
at Foz do Iguassu Airport , starting our
services: Transfer-in from Airport to Hotel San
Rafael (it can be another Hotel), check-in for
accommodations, after a good rest, meeting at the
Hotel lobby for a short explanation about the
activities included on the program. Night free.
Day2
At 08:30 A.M
departure to the Brazilian side of the falls.
Following the Cataratas highway, we arrive at
Iguassu National Park (20 km from the Hotel),
Created in 1939 and covering 185.000 hectares, the
ecological reserved has been declared part of the
Natural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO. Once
inside the park our guide will give some
information about the local fauna and flora, 10 km
from the entrance of park, while telling you the
story of the falls our guide will take you down
the walkways that border the canyon of the Iguassu
River, It is possible to observe hundreds of small
waterfalls until where the last fall Floriano
Falls is reached. There, a complete frontal view
of Devil's Throat can be seen. From there we go to
Macuco Safari, 6 Km from the falls, where a very
extraordinary adventure trip of 2 hours will
begin, open wagon pulled by jeep go through the
jungle for 5 Kilometers, accompanied by a
specialized guide who will provide interesting
information about the ecology of the region. Tour
continues on foot to the banks of the Iguassu
River . There, The visitor who opts for the
rafting descent, are instructed by the
coordinators of the operation while still on the
docks.

The group receive
all the necessary equipment (special life-jackets
which differ from the model utilized on the
regular Macuco Safari boats, and a helmet).
Thereafter a specially equipped motor launch takes
the group as close as possible to the waterfalls,
providing a thrilling adventure and unique view of
the falls.
On the return
trip, in a calmer area near San Martin Island ,
the Macuco boat approaches the rafting boat and
the group is transferred to begin the descent
through the rapids.
With a duration of
30 minutes, the descent through the rapids is made
in inflatable boats propelled by oars and
captained by licensed professionals associated
with the Brazilian Confederation of Canoeing.
After facing the adrenaline by going down the
rapids on a rafting boat the group arrive back to
the Macuco Platform where the wagon is waiting to
take the group back to the bus.
Some optional
tours are available: Bird Park and Helicopter
trips, talk to our guide, we have good prices to
offer you. On the way back to Hotel, stop
scheduled for shopping at local crafts center.

night

departure to Rafain Latin American Show, dinner
with a folkloric night show : Transportation,
guided service, Self-service buffet with a wide
variety of salads, hot and cold dishes,
first-class served from traditional chopping
clocks, and desserts including an ice cream bar.
While dinning enjoy a live show featuring dozens
of native musicians and dancers presenting
authentic folk songs and folk dances from the
cultures of México, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina
and Brazil. (The show takes 2 hours).
Day3
t 8:30 A.M.
departure to Itaipu Dam, Transportation and guided
tour (15 km from the Hotel), at the Reception
Center the visit starts by showing an explanatory
movie about the construction and operation of the
plant. Continue by bus to the principal viewing
platform where the giant spillways can be
observed. An impressive water spectacle can be
appreciated as well as a panoramic view of the
entire power plant, thereafter we go direct to the
falls (Argentina side) with the possibility to
stop on the way to have lunch in a restaurant
recommended by the guide. Leaving the
Brazil/Argentina border, getting in Argentina
through the Tancredo Neves bridge, built on the
Iguassu River. Trails through the 55.500 hectares
reserve (30 km far from the Hotel) provide the
pleasure of a different, more complete view of the
falls, specially the biggest one, the devil's
Throat. Lower and upper walkways permit a closer
look at the waterfalls.
